Engaging students in class is already difficult enough, but engaging middle school students over a computer screen is near to impossible. At the middle school level, organization is one of the keys to success, so I would like to start day one with all students at the same level instead of having to play catch up for those who aren't able to get the necessary items. The virus has made it necessary for students to have their own material and not share with each other. Every donation will help to achieve this. I have had to solicit donations, purchase binders out of my personal money and even compromise on expectations for students based on what their families are able to provide.

About my class
