Our district has graciously purchased devices for all students. This means information exchange between teacher and student must be done through online means. Teachers Pay Teachers has many lessons with reading passages, games, activities with primary and secondary sources, and quizzes that align with our state TEKs that can be put directly into our online learning management system. Online learning is difficult to engage with students and that to the bore of yester year's history lessons straight from the textbook. The lessons that are within TPT are exciting, fun, and challenge a student's thoughts on history. This is the year of the history teacher. This is the year to look at what would have learned from the past how future generations can apply these lessons to their future.
