In June, my school was dealt a devastating blow. Heavy rains and high temperatures left one wing of our building severely damaged. A disaster recovery team was brought in and deemed most classroom supplies and materials a total loss. My speech therapy room was in the damaged wing. Ten years worth of building an extensive therapy collection has been lost. My students are starting back to school in about two weeks, we are still not allowed in the building as they are still making repairs, and I'm not sure what supplies will still be there when we do return. Any amount that you can give will go towards rebuilding our speech room. My students and myself will be forever grateful.
