These items will help prepare my students to strive for excellence. No longer will they feel as though they are not properly equipped with all the necessary materials to achieve success. When they enter the room learning with began with them just needing to sit back and embrace what's in front of them. In my classroom I want students to use every resource they have to help them become lifetime learners. Students will always be prepared for the lessons when they open their divider storage which houses their pencils, crayons, pens, pencil sharpener, and highlighters. Never again without a pencil because right at their desk is a handheld pencil sharpener. Composition notebooks will serve as a tool to help build and promote vocabulary as well as encourage them to become better writers. My students will be excited about having quality and comfortable headphones to complete computer assignments. This will also be very helpful when they are taking diagnostic assessments. Acquiring all of these materials will make it easier for my students to put forth their best effort and have a different growth mindset.
