Building our classroom library will provide my students not only with a variety of texts to read, but will also help develop their writing. The various books will provide models for students to grow their writing. By reading a variety of texts, students will find their favorite genres, building vocabulary and a love of reading! These books will provide opportunities for class read alouds and also allow students to read the books independently. Through the reading of these books, our class will be able to have deeper conversations. These conversations will help us think about new ideas.
