My district has approved a plan for its staff and students to physically return to school in the Fall provided that we remain in the "green phase" in our county. Considering this situation, I am doing everything that I can to control the environment that my students and I are in for most of the school day. My students want to learn and I want to teach; the only way that both of those goals can be accomplished during a pandemic is through safety. The daily use of an air purifier that cleans up to 500 square feet in 30 minutes, and 250 square feet in 15 minutes, would go a long way in protecting myself and my students. The air purifier I am requesting is considered medical grade air filtration and is touted for 99.9% removal of particles down to 0.1 microns for common environmental allergens as well as bacteria and virus carriers.
