Students will be working in an active, dynamic and creative art studio environment at school to learn skills and push ideas to create visual art pieces they never imagined they'd be able to create! With these supplies, students will be able to experience a real live art studio-this will enhance and motivate students to learn and take more creative risks! Students will gain painting skills and learn to push those creative and colorful ideas to a greater level with each new experience! Currently, my students walk in and ask, "is today is the day they get to paint"? With your help acquiring these supplies, students will have experiences working with authentic painting supplies like authentic acrylic brushes, palette knives for color mixing(plastic!), and real canvas paper for making art works. Students will be using these supplies in both-the online and in-school setting. Our plan is to learn about color theory, color mixing, compositional planning and combining it with drawing skills on canvas to create gorgeous works of art in which they can be proud. These projects will also be a stepping stone to more advanced painting adventures. Thank you so much for helping them succeed! We are so excited!
