These materials will serve as the foundation of a flexible, comfortable reading area in the library for all grade levels. This reading zone will become the heart of our library! I will begin most K-2 library classes from the green ottoman with stories and research exploration using the interactive board we already have. The beautiful carpet will show the many countries our diverse community has immigrated from, and travels to. Students in all grades can spend time in this area reading. This project will have a few phases. I will be painting and decorating the backs of the bookshelves that make the area's walls.
