This project will help allow my students to take turns going online in my classroom to work on SAT Prep materials to help them prepare for taking the SAT. My students are from low-income families who cannot all afford to purchase a laptop, printer, and, printer ink. Some of them do not even have access to the internet and that is why the printer is needed, so I can print out packets for them to work on in class. By having a station set up with the laptops and printer, my students will have a place to go to work on preparing themselves for their SAT test when they are finished with their classroom work or when they need additional resources printed to work on in class. It is crucial to give these students the same opportunities that students have received in the past. Covid took away some very valuable teaching time to help prepare students for their SAT, and I want to help get students caught up and ready to take the test. There's no time sitting around for the SAT!
