In our class, students follow instruction on a large white board through visual aids and written mathematics examples. However, due to some of their specific learning needs, including visual impairment, there is a need to project lessons including object lessons onto a larger surface. An Elmo projector would allow myself to project object and written lessons on to a larger screen which would improve student engagement and encourage active participation. Moreover, seeing a text in color is incredibly engaging for students! This projector would help support special needs students in my classroom and the many other students in neighboring classrooms as this valuable tool would be shared. Please help support my students by bringing an ELMO projector in my classroom!
