My band students will be asked to do many difficult things to participate in band class this upcoming year. Not only will they be socially distanced, but they will also be required to wear masks, use bell coverings on their instruments, and use puppy pads to catch brass condensation. We will be cleaning our instruments thoroughly every single day to ensure safety and security. These methods will be new for many students, and will almost be like relearning how to play their instrument. Staying safe inside the band room is the number one priority for me, and this donation to our band program will allow us to do so.
