At our school, we will be starting off the year in distance learning. Education is going to look very different as students will be at home. These resources and tools will give students the opportunity to participate in distance learning that is the closest thing they have to normal school. The clipboard-whiteboards will be a helpful tool for students to engage in multiple content areas, specifically, math problems, grammar and phonic lessons, and social-emotional activities. The most challenging part about distance learning will be fostering relationships with students and families. I have included stationary sets and postcards to help bridge this gap and connect with families. I am hoping with these materials, distance learning will be more equitable and engaging for my upcoming third graders.
