About my class

This project will provide essential resources that will bring me one step closer to flipping my classroom (instead of flipping the desks in my classroom out of frustration). In this environment, students would empower their own ability to understand fundamental aspects of a unit and then come to school to be challenged in how to apply those understandings. With the upcoming year beginning as a hybrid schedule, this type of classroom transformation is imperative. Camtasia is, by far, the best tool for helping teachers create engaging, professional, and informationally rich recorded lessons that help students to not only understand the content in a more clear way, but provide an opportunity for the teacher to leave a positive imprint on their students by showing their personality and creativity. The remaining items create a more professional experience for the student viewing, which are essential for student engagement. By donating to this project, you are helping my students understand the basics of American Government and Constitutional Law for years to come so that we can engage in authentic, critical activities that could spark positive change in our district, communities, and nation. These tools are vital for the flipped classroom experience and it would go a long way in making sure that my students have access to the information they need at any time, any place. The educational landscape is changing, and this combination of hardware and software would help me become an active part in its transformation.
