If my project is funded, I will use the materials to enhance the quality of my intervention groups. The white boards will be used with expo markers and magnetic letters in order to write and manipulate letters and sounds. The timers will be used to measure fluency progress. Laser pointers will be used to have students "follow the light" while reading. The journals will be used for responding to writing prompts. Having these materials readily available either at school or on google classroom will benefit our students tremendously. I believe when students can easily see their progress and be a part of measuring their progress, they take more ownership and pride in their work. These supplies would foster this belief.
