These individual toolboxes are key to my student's learning as they will be in school learning 2 days and at home learning 3 days. Because we can not share manipulatives and basic classroom tools, it is necessary for each student to have their own to use in the classroom and take home to ensure learning and engagement in each child in both places. I will use these tools along with curriculum materials and materials I have bought to give each student their own to use in school and at home. Giving each student their own materials and manipulatives to use at home and in school will maximize their learning despite the circumstances we are in this year.
