Having taught for 40 years, we now find the teaching experience to be totally different due to the pandemic. We are now directed to do Distance Learning. With that being our new normal, it requires new ways of teaching our students...that being virtual. It also requires our environment to change with the use of technology. Having the suggested items will definitely allow me as an educator to grow professionally as it pertains to Distance Learning. I will be able to promote and nurture an effective and active learning community that involves students, teachers, and parents. I will be able to promote student growth by using the most recent educational technology, using cooperative learning, planning instructional strategies, applying virtual classroom management techniques, collaborate with colleagues and promoting In order to provide a successful platform of learning, I must provide learning utilizing different tools to communicate and keep our students successful. Our students will be learning from home and having the needed items will allow the achievement of success for all!
