Preschool is all about play and connection, and those things can still thrive amidst virtual learning! Funding these kits will help our preschool program create individual learning kits for each student to be able to play along with peers and teachers during virtual learning. Kits include magnetic white boards (for drawing and other pre-writing fun!), building materials (blocks, pop beads, etc.) and sensory items to ensure hands-on learning can happen even through a screen! Working in a Title 1 school, many of the families I serve have varying levels of resources and support, so being able to provide learning kits will be sure to help them provide developmentally-appropriate fun for their kiddos at home.
