Our project is geared towards making our students learn to their upmost potential. Having been in remote learning for months, our students are proudly returning to the classroom, anxiously waiting to be greeted by new teachers and classrooms. With this in mind, it is essential that our classroom is decorated and set up to create a warm home environment for our students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The past few months have not been easy for our students, particularly students from low income families. These students need a place to revitalize their minds and hearts as they enter a brand new year, starting very differently from how they imagined. Our goal is to create a smooth transition, but this can only happen with your support. We specifically want to create a classroom library with dimmed lighting and comfortable space. We want the classroom to feel comfortable, positive, and energetic. With a new classroom look and bulletin boards beautifully set up our students will feel connected to their classroom community and work their hardest to be their best selves.
