The year, 2020, has changed the educational approach from full time face to face in class instruction to distance teaching and learning. My students will engage in many different educational platforms on school issued laptops this year. Laptops are essential to student learning but can be difficult to navigate without a touch screen or a computer mouse. Students will be able to keep a mouse, headphones, whiteboard, whiteboard eraser, and marker in a bag for them to use while learning at home. When face to face instruction resumes the students will be able to use these items with them at school too! The students will be able to bring the items in their bag to school along with their laptops if required for in class instruction. This will ensure all students have access to the same tools and resources to use while learning at home and in the classroom setting.
