Creating a positive community climate in a classroom can be an obstacle. Sitting at desks or tables all day learning is not the best way to keep students engaged. Having an area dedicated to movement, floor play, class discussions and instruction is key. Buy incorporating a whole group rug I will be able to create this dedicated area! This rug will be where a majority of our whole group instructions will take place. They will also have centers that will take place at the rug, and be an area to play games, dance around and enjoy learning.
