This project will help my students learn how to grow, harvest and cook food in the classroom! Starting from seeds, the students will grow spices and herbs in planters. They will then observe the stages of growth. Once at fully maturity, they will harvest the plant and use them in the food dish we make in class. This will be a great way to increase STEM education and for students to learn more about food science and agriculture career pathways. This will also save money for food supplies for labs.
