Through book clubs that meet bi-weekly, students share their thinking about the diverse subjects presented in the texts. Student experience with a text differs based on their personal experiences. Students may complete a constructed response, include through synthesis the book club text in a final writing assessment, complete a review or even a 2 pager demonstrating their thinking and understanding.
