The students in our class range in age from 3 years old to 10 years old. They use signs and/or speech to communicate at various levels. Their needs, skills, and interests vary as well. Currently, all class sports equipment, class supplies and materials, and various curricula for all grade levels are stored in the classroom so they are available for use. To free up space in the classroom, and to allow for proper social distancing and freedom of movement for the students, these cabinets will be used to store the outdoor play equipment and other items safely and securely. With outdoor storage, the students will always be able to access the outdoor play equipment. They will have more room available in the classroom for social distancing, freedom of movement, and learning centers.
