These books will be used in the classroom during our "Power Hour" small group time daily! Students will be broken up into groups based on their reading level, and they will be given books from this collection that match their reading levels. This is the ideal way to make sure that students are given the opportunity to be challenged within their own areas of need. By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase my students' early reading skills, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and confidence with texts. This collection contains both fiction and non-fiction books to give students experience with a variety of texts. Having these leveled readers will allow me to give students a book at their own individual reading level, and work with them one on one with the text, to really advance their skills.
