This table, with its crescent/kidney shape, is designed for small groups and will be a welcome addition to my classroom. It will be used by our frequent parent volunteers to lead small groups in an art activity, playing a learning game, or conducting a hands-on science experiment. This table will create a special space for learning in small groups and provide the adult facilitator (teacher or family member) comfortable access to all the children in the group. The classroom environment needs to be accessible and engaging for both the students and the adults. I look forward to working with my students in close proximity at this table. I think our parent and family volunteers will appreciate and enjoy having a comfortable space when they are working with children in the classroom.
