I am a first-year teacher. I am asking for support to transform the lighting in my classroom into one conducive for an effective learning environment. With the proper lighting students are likely to become better learners, have more confidence, and their moods improve overall! Students are less likely to experience headaches that are likely to occur with fluorescent lights. Given good lighting, some students have claimed it even provides them with a confidence boost! The use of lamps in the classroom can make the room warm and inviting and feel more like home.
