As we embark on this unique time for teaching, I am trying to reach students virtually, this is where the Ipad comes in. The Ipad and Apple Pencil provide an additional resource for me to be able to reach my students in new and interesting ways. This not only gives me the capability to utilize apps that enhance the foreign language experience, but it gives students an additional resource when they return to the classroom such as, "visiting" other countries and virtual penpals/meetups with students from Spanish-speaking countries. Technology has become an important key to keeping us connected during these unsure times and an Ipad would make this process easier not only for myself as the teacher, but also for students to benefit from its effectiveness.
