When students attend school on a daily basis they are able to grow and expand in their learning journey through identifying with a school, classroom, and seat that specifically belongs to them for the entirety of the school year. Furthermore, research has shown that when providing students with their own learning space, they are given an opportunity to build a sense of connectivity. This allows the student to advance and develop their social-emotional skills by having a safe and comfortable place to learn. With that being said, we are raising money to create this necessary space in our student's homes, filled with all the supplies needed to succeed both academically and socially-emotionally. A $125 donation ensures a student receives a desk filled with school supplies.
