There has been a lot of talk about distance learning with the onset of COVID-19. I believe that the best learning happens in the classroom. Not only do children learn about math, reading, and cursive writing, but they also learn about social graces. They learn from real life experiences; interactions with teachers and peers. Children learn about the wonder of the world, and how our actions impact others. It brings great joy to watch the passion for learning ignite in front of me. All of this critical learning will be better facilitated with proper chairs. Students spend most of the school day in their seats, and it is essential that they are fully functional. I am thankful for your contribution, and helping to keep the burden off my already strapped district. God bless.
