With us starting off the school year learning at home, I want to ensure that all my students have the materials/resources they need to successfully engage in distance learning. My goal is to organize and prepare materials for students to use at home so students can engage in hands-on activities even at a distance. I am providing each of my students with a whiteboard, dry erase markers, dice, playing cards, and writing materials. This back to school kit will ensure all students have access to the same supplies that I would typically use in the classroom. Parents will not have to worry about gathering materials for their child that may be necessary for lessons or at-home learning. This kit will also increase engagement online. The students can engage their family in their learning through playing math games.
