A document camera will allow my students to watch me move manipulatives, grasp my pencil and crayons correctly (fine motor skills), and closely watch how to write numbers and letters as we venture into more distance learning this fall. I will also be able to better read stories over Zoom with my class by using the document camera to allow my students to see the book more closely. A document camera will allow me to demonstrate activities up close and will continue to do so as we transition back to the classroom at some point by projecting the view onto our large classroom monitor for my entire class to see. It will be extremely beneficial for many years to come!
