These sun hat face shields will allow students the freedom and flexibility to continue their learning without restrictions of masks. I want students to remain protected during the pandemic. However, first graders depend a lot on the movement of their mouth and the visibility of their teachers mouth. Using the face mask during phonics, phonemic awareness and small group reading will allow students to see the way sounds and letters are formed with their mouth and of a classmate's mouth. Masks will be an important part of the classroom this coming school year, I just want to make sure every opportunity for learning is still offered to the students and these face shields will do the job! Help me in providing these face shields so students can continue to learn through seeing the mouth movements of their teacher, friends and self.
