My students will have access to a classroom pantry, where they will be able to gather items they may otherwise not be able to. This pantry will be stocked with hygiene products, food, and other items students need to successfully get through their time in middle school. This will allow them to feel comfortable in their environment and know that they are supported by their teacher. Since this area is one with great need, students will know they have a trusted adult to turn to if they need things they aren't getting elsewhere.
