My striving readers need support and access to books and other materials that facilitate their developing literacy skills. Strong foundational literacy skills are essential for accurate and automatic word recognition, fluency, vocabulary development and comprehension. I am asking for support for a document camera that will allow me to share a variety of books to best meet the needs of my students. In addition, a set of magnetic letters and Scrabble Slam game will help build word reading skills by making learning fun! These materials will help with motivating and engaging my students.
