As I prepare my classroom for the upcoming fall semester, there are many unknowns. It is still unknown whether we'll return to in-class learning once the fall semester begins so plans are being made to prepare for virtual learning. If the students are learning from home, I will use a variety of resources to provide the core subjects to my students in the most engaging and interactive methods possible. Resources such as Seesaw and Boom Cards will be used, as well as daily personal interactions through Zoom classroom meetings. These class meetings will foster a more personal relationship with my students and create a stronger student-teacher connection. With the help of this project, every student will have an iPad in his/her home and can participate in the classroom activities. In addition, the parents will have access to convenient parent/teacher communication methods so that I am able to quickly answer any questions they may have. Furthermore, the family will be able to use the iPad to assist their child in additional online learning outside of the classroom assignments.
