The pop-up canopy tents will be instrumental for my students' learning in the fall. We have been encouraged to take our students outdoors for learning, whenever possible. Unfortunately, I do not yet have a space that students can learn and be protected from the sun and other elements. Right now, we would only be able to enjoy outdoor learning if it was a nice day and we can find shade. With a canopy and side walls, we will be able to enjoy this outdoor space ANY day! We will be protected from harsh sun rays and even a little rain. My goal is to create an additional outdoor learning space that kids are excited to use. By providing pop-up canopies my students will still get to move around, learn, feel like they are still in a classroom, and enjoy a break from their masks/ indoor classroom walls. By adding the side walls I have the ability to add posters or helpful resources in the canopy to make it feel and look like our classroom.
