Creating meaningful and individualized activities for each student helps to create a positive learning environment. The laminator and file folders will help to create games and activities that will specifically target goals of each student. The color coded file folders, timers and tape will help for students and staff alike be able to locate student specific activities, as well as, to minimize cross-contamination during this unique school year. Literacy is an essential part of any students education and opens up a world of opportunity for them. The books, workbooks, and spelling puzzle will help to work on various literacy skills while focusing on subjects such as: making choices, emotions, and self-regulation. In addition to literacy students will be able to work on their fine motor skills through the use of a variety of puzzle types and activity boards. The frog hop sensory path will provide an opportunity for students get energy out while working on gross motor skills, as well as, being a calming strategy. And finally the star projector will be used for a calming area when students are overwhelmed. The various colors and films makes it easier to create a more individual environment for the student feel safe in.
