Middle school students are at a developing age, mentally and physically. They are often adjusting to changes due to our current situation, many of them have to act as responsible adults around the house. They take care of their siblings and often forget to take care of themselves. Many times they show up to school hungry because they forgot to have breakfast, or as low-income families living in a pandemic, sometimes there’s just not enough food. A simple snack can make the difference in the life of a student at such a crucial developing age. Being able to provide the essentials for our students to learn is not limited to school supplies, food is also a very important tool our students need, having a full stomach can help them focus and be ready to learn every day.

About my class
