Counting is a basic skill that everyone needs as they progress throughout their school years and beyond. These materials will help students who need reinforcement with basic counting skills to help them better develop number sense. These interactive and hands-on materials will help to 'cultivate their counting capacity'. Repetition is a crucial part of mastering a skill, especially in the area of math. By providing a variety of ways to support my students' abilities to recognize numbers quickly, they can eventually begin to learn how to perform basic operations that are used every day.
