My Dual Language Pre-K students are curious, enthusiastic, and excited to learn in both English and Spanish. They come from diverse backgrounds and are proud of their languages, families, and cultures. As a Title I school, we serve children with a variety of learning needs, including students with special needs and multilingual learners. Young children learn best through play, exploration, movement, and hands-on experiences. I want to provide a welcoming and inclusive classroom with materials that inspire creativity, communication, independence, and collaboration. Books, manipulatives, dramatic play, building materials, art, music, and sensory activities will strengthen early literacy, math, fine-motor, social-emotional, and problem-solving skills while helping students build vocabulary and confidence in both languages.
