This project will allow me and my students to have ample resources to start topics of conversations on equality, race, diversity, appreciation, love, empathy, skin color and much more. Students need to be exposed to books that have characters that look like them. They also need to be exposed to books that tell about people that are treated differently than them. By having this library of books, students will be able read, think and discuss equality, race, diversity, appreciation, love, empathy, skin color and much more. It is crucial that these kids are learning and thinking about these topics at a young age.

About my class
