Archery is a sport that connects beautifully with both our study of the Middle Ages: the noble knights, courtly love, the art of competition AND our physics curriculum! With money in short supply for public education, providing experiences that can inspire engagement and ignite the imagination is crucial. These bows, arrows and targets will allow us to imagine life as a medieval knight and fight against injustice through practice and dedication. Archery develops patience, persistence, and self-reflection: key components to developing strong, moral adults who can engage with the world authentically and lead the world forward.
