Research shows that students benefit from flexible seating. This project will allow my students with sensory needs a way to get those needs met while remaining on task. Many of the students in my classroom require a way to exert extra energy while staying engaged in their classroom work. Students with diverse needs learn best when they are able to move their bodies in their environment.The use of flexible seating will allow students to choose a chair that best suits their needs. Flexible seating may include carpet squares, bean bag chairs, rocker chairs and/or ball chairs. Your donation would be greatly appreciated.
