These materials will help to support my students' mental health because hybrid learning has been challenging for them as it has been for us all. They started thinking that learning was no longer fun because they had to stare at a screen for six hours. Now that some will be in-person learning I want to prove to them that learning is super fun and important. I want my students to end this year with positive mental health concerning school and how amazing it is to learn. These materials will also be a lot of help to my students because many of them come from low-income families and so providing materials to them will definitely be one less thing they will worry about. These activities and materials that I have chosen will provide support and learning center opportunities so that my students have hands-on activities to enrich their minds. Students will have the opportunity to learn using different manipulatives to enhance their mental picture of what school really is.
