I chose several materials to help me build my dramatic play center in my classroom. Since I am a first year teacher in a low income area, I need all the help I can get to help me create a fun environment for my kindergartners to play in each day. I love dramatic play centers because the children learn so much about real life scenarios all while playing and having fun. By using these materials, they will learn about different jobs and how to interact with people which will help them as they grow up. My English Language Learners will also benefit greatly by seeing everyday objects and hearing their classmates label the English word to it.
