We are all unsure of what the coming school year will be like, whether it is online learning, hybrid learning, or a full return to the building. In any case, school supplies are necessary for students to engage in active learning. For student safety, each student should have their own supplies to use and I would love to provide each student with a supply box to use at school or to take home for distance education. With so much uncertainty, I want to make sure my students have all the basic supplies from notebooks and pencils to dry erase boards and erasers. Providing these supplies will allow for an easy transition during this pandemic. Many parents in our community have been laid off either permanently or temporarily. This has caused tremendous financial burden for our city. Therefore, I cannot expect my parents to be able to provide what is necessary for their students this year. I want to ease the stress of returning to school and make sure my students' needs are taken care of. Please help supply this classroom with those basic supplies.
