With school just around the corner and with the important challenges of social distancing, I would like my students to have the opportunity to do some of our learning outside. Being outside has so many benefits in itself and in light of the Coronavirus, it is even more important when we return to the classroom to have open air and more space to spread out to help prevent the spread of germs. These camping chairs are a great option for creating a portable outdoor classroom and social distancing. Students will be able to find some shade and set up their chairs at least six feet apart to work on reading, writing, math, and other curriculum. The cup holders will be perfect for holding writing utensils and other school supplies. They are fold-able so my students can easily and quickly transport them when we decide to go outside. Because we won't be able to use our cafeteria the same way we have in the past these could also be a lovely option for outdoor lunchtime. The portable whiteboard will be very helpful to post information for the students when we are outside. It is easy enough for me to move and can also be used inside our classroom.
