Participating in this drama program teaches our kids more than just acting, singing, dancing or tech production. In theatre, all students are equally important to the success of the production. These students will learn that if they work hard together, they can create something wonderful! With the closest dedicated magnet arts school offering performing arts being almost 20 miles away, students at our school are not all afforded the same resources on hand to have quality productions they can be proud of. To build our drama program, we are starting with the basics of lighting instruments. Our first production, we spent more time fundraising to afford rented lights, and students should focus on the arts itself. These lighting instruments will contribute to our program for years to come!
