Sketchnoting is a perfect method for my students with disabilities to access and engage in their education from home by allowing them to learn to create class notes in any subject using pictures and words. The best way to teach Sketchnoting within the framework of distance learning is through the use of an iPad and Apple Pencil. I am seeking a donation of an iPad and Apple Pencil so that I can teach my students the process of using pictures and words, Sketchnoting, to learn important class information. Using the Apple Pencil and iPad I am able to demonstrate Sketchnote symbols by drawing directly on the screen for students to be able to see and copy at home using their own technology or even paper and pencil. In addition to Sketchnoting, I will be able to interact with my students more effectively online with this technology that is not available for teachers at our school at this time.
