As a first year teacher it is so important for me to provide a classroom environment where students feel safe to learn and grow. That's why this project will help me fill my classroom with teaching essentials like easel pads, a clock, and a pencil sharpener to name a few. But this project will also provide a space for students to learn at their best--with their own book bins to store their books and dry erase pockets. My focus is always on what will best help my students grow as readers and writers, and as people as well. This donor's choose project will allow me to focus on the needs of my students instead of any lack of supplies.
